According to the findings, teachers provide partly participation through formal meetings to the school management. According to administrators and teachers opinions, classroom teachers' active participation make positive effects in school management. However, the negative attitudes of the administrators and teachers, lack of the merits in administrators' appointments, the lack of communication between the teachers, the lack of knowledge of the legal regulations of the teachers and the reluctance of the teachers with the legal restrictions prevent participation in the school management. According to the findings, classroom teachers cannot participate effectively in school management. In order to ensure class teachers' effective participation in school management, it may be useful to take teachers' ideas, make them aware of legal regulations, and select qualified school administrators. © 2020 T.C.
