Two newfy published tatar epics in tatarstan: "Atakli Kiz Tukbike" and "Timir Batir"

Starting with the era ofTsardom Russia until today, a wide range of researches have been made and lots of texts have been published on the epics of Tatar Turks. But these researches and publications have been exposed to interventions from time to time arising from different reasons in various periods. Although many texts have been gathered, these texts could not be taken out from the archieves and could not be published. By the help of changing conditions, wider oppurtunities have occurred for carrying out new researches. Thanks to these oppurtunities, two new epics of Siberian Tatars, whose epics have been gathered from their verbal traditions, have been published after the Soviet era. These texts, published by Morsel Ahmetjanov, will make important contributions to the studies on the Tatar epics. These two historical epics, which are remarkable in terms of their subject, strengthen the possibility that many other texts, which have not been discovered yet, are in the offlcal or private archieves. This means that we can expect new studies on the Tatar epics with new contributions.
