Fatma Barbarosoğlu’nun Roman ve Hikâyelerinde Kadın

Abstract

Kadın kimliği toplumuzda hem sosyal hem de edebî açıdan geçmişten günümüze kadar birçok yazar tarafından tartışılmış ve bir imge olarak yazarların farklı türlerdeki eserlerine konu olmuştur. Özellikle, bir birey olarak toplumsal hayatın içinde yer alan kadın, Barbarosoğlu’nun da roman ve hikâye kahramanları içerisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, sosyoloji, psikoloji gibi farklı disiplinlerden ve Barbarosoğlu’nun görüşlerinden de hareketle roman ve hikâyelerindeki “kadın”ın izini sürerek, roman ve hikâyelerdeki kadın kahramanları hayatın içerisinde sahip oldukları/üstlendikleri toplumsal roller ve karşılaştıkları sorunlar üzerinden değerlendirdik. Yaşam tarzı ve düşünceleriyle Cumhuriyet’in edebî kanonundan farklı bir duruş sergileyen yazar; roman ve hikâyelerinde farklı kimlik ve sosyal çevreler içerisinde kurguladığı kadın kahramanlarla, toplumdaki değişim ve dönüşüm sürecini kadın üzerinden yansıtmıştır.

The female identity in our society has been discussed by many authors both socially and literally from past until todayand has been a subject for various types of works of the authors as an image. Especially, the woman who emerges in social life as an individual, plays an important role as novel and story heroines of Barborosoğlu. In this study, with the help of different disciplines like sociology, psychologyand the views of Barborosoğlu, tracking down 'the woman' in her novels and stories, we assess the heroines in her works over their social roles they own/take on and troubles they come across in life. With her lifestyle and views, posing a different attitude from the literal rule of Republic, the author reflects the change and transformation process in society through woman, using heroines who she fictitionalizes with different identities and social circumstances in her novels and stories.
